Character restrictions in resumix resumes

by fred 4. May 2010
Government resumes for careers with the Military use a format called Resumix resume, which character limit is pretty unusual. It's highly crucial that the applicant adheres to these restrictions as this can be used as part of the screening process.  Use too many characters in the employment section and your Federal Resumix will most likely get tossed away and never be read by a human being.  Your resume makes a first impression so it's imperative that it makes a good first impression. When preparing job descriptions, the restrictions may seem intimidating, but thousands of job seekers have successfully worked within the guidelines. So make sure you follow closely the guidelines listed in the vacancy announcement.
