by carlos 3. August 2007

OK, how about a brief--to the point--explanation of what a KSA  is?

Are you ready?

OK here goes...KSA’s are essays.

That's right they are essays.

They are a specialized kind of essay and they are written a special format: Challenge--Conflict--Action--Result.

But essentially they are essays.

KSA stands for Knowledge, Skills and Abilities.

* Knowledge is factual or procedural information applied to the job.
* Skill is expertise in managing data, items or people.
* Ability is proven competence in the performance of mental or physical    action.

In the world of Federal Resume The KSA is extremely important. Government Recruiters use KSA’s to sort out and identify
the best qualified applicants

KSA's are normally used when utilizing the Resumix or the OF-612 Federal Resume Formats.

Wow, I didn't realize they were just essay's. I still would need a writer to help me with it, but it makes more sense.
